What happens to your information?
Each leaf below covers one part of how Local Leaf works.
Location and ZIP searches
You may enter a ZIP code or, in supported app experiences, grant foreground location access. We use that location to return nearby public inventory. Precise location is used for the immediate request and is not retained as a movement history.
Anonymous activity
We may count searches by coarse legal-market area, store appearances, product-detail views, and taps to a retailer website, phone number, or directions. These aggregates help us improve coverage and show retailers the traffic Local Leaf sends. They are not tied to a Local Leaf account, advertising identifier, or personal profile.
Technical records
Our hosting and security providers may temporarily process standard server information such as IP address, browser type, timestamps, request path, and error logs. We use it to deliver the service, prevent abuse, investigate failures, and protect the inventory API. We keep only what is reasonably necessary for those purposes.
Sponsorships
If Local Leaf displays a sponsored card, it will be clearly labeled and selected by broad search context such as state or metro area, not by a personal dossier. Sponsored placement will not secretly reorder organic results.
Service providers and external links
Local Leaf uses hosting, security, inventory-storage, and operational-monitoring providers. Product images may load from retailer or menu-platform servers. Retailer links, calls, and directions leave Local Leaf and are governed by the destination service's privacy practices.
Your choices
You can search by ZIP instead of device location, decline location permission, avoid external links, or contact us with a privacy question. Because Local Leaf does not maintain user accounts, there is normally no profile for us to retrieve or delete.
Children and regulated products
Local Leaf is not directed to children. It is intended for legally eligible adults accessing lawful regulated markets. Local Leaf does not provide medical advice or facilitate a sale.
